Hi there! I’m Tomie.

I am a lifestyle photographer serving Calgary and surrounding areas. I spend most of my time behind the camera photographing newborn babies, children, families as well as moms-to-be. I do love mixing it up now and then by photographing weddings, parties, or helping a local business capture their brand and headshots.

Your family is the most important thing in the world, and I know the portraits of your loved ones mean A LOT. I not only enjoy creating beautiful images but also capturing genuine moments, both the life changing events and the ordinary treasures, all while you are having fun!

It may feel awkward in front of the camera, but many of us feel the same way, including myself. I will walk you through every step to feel prepared and relaxed. Trust me, you will show up for your session as excited as I am.

I'm a mom to two and love, love spending time with babies and kids so no need to worry about your kiddos. You can relax and just be yourself while I create beautiful portraits for you to cherish for years to come.

Itty bitty - Robin

When I got to my client's house for this newborn photo session, the big sister who greeted me at the door in her favorite dress was just a tiny pea when I saw her last. It felt like I just had her newborn shoot not that long ago. It was great to recall how different these two children were at their first shoot with me. I don't think the big sister opened her eyes even once during her newborn shoot. On the other hand her new little sis Robin was an active little one.
