Hi there! I’m Tomie.
I am a lifestyle photographer serving Calgary and surrounding areas. I spend most of my time behind the camera photographing newborn babies, children, families as well as moms-to-be. I do love mixing it up now and then by photographing weddings, parties, or helping a local business capture their brand and headshots.
Your family is the most important thing in the world, and I know the portraits of your loved ones mean A LOT. I not only enjoy creating beautiful images but also capturing genuine moments, both the life changing events and the ordinary treasures, all while you are having fun!
It may feel awkward in front of the camera, but many of us feel the same way, including myself. I will walk you through every step to feel prepared and relaxed. Trust me, you will show up for your session as excited as I am.
I'm a mom to two and love, love spending time with babies and kids so no need to worry about your kiddos. You can relax and just be yourself while I create beautiful portraits for you to cherish for years to come.

I can't wait to meet you!

Love,

EXTENDED FAMILY - CALGARY FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER
Now winter is officially here in Calgary and it has definitely been chilly lately, so we may as well look for the best all seasons. Most people like to schedule their family session in summer and fall and yes, those seasons are beautiful, but don't forget about winter's allure. I was so excited when I heard from this family about their winter outdoor session. Even though I love hosting outdoor winter sessions, another reality is that these types of session are not the most cooperative.
Luckily the weather turned out to be pretty mild and we had just received heaps of gorgeous fresh snow just in time for this lovely extended family session. They were all gathering for the holidays and wanted to capture their big family together. It sounded like some of them were not used to this snowy weather, but nobody complained providing me lots of opportunity to capture some genuine smiles while they were enjoying their family get together. Thank you for the great afternoon! Here are some of my favorites.
